Inspiring. Love it. “You will not be old longer. You will be young longer.” May it be so.

Mrs Allen: What I am about to say, please take as a compliment. Lady, you very much irritate me. Why? You ask. Because you make me think. I find I disagree with you a lot, but it is because I see what you are writing about, but from a different perspective. In order to address the seemingly minute issues, I have to reflect on my perspective, prepare an apology to my perspective, all of which makes me think about the differences of two different perspectives or approaches to the same issue, but arriving at the same conclusion.

It is at this point I then find appreciation for your writing. Though you and I agree in principle, we disagree in perspective. Because of these differences in perspective, I have to take pause and masticate on these two perspectives, only to discover it is only a difference in definitions, word usage, etc., which is at the heart of the differences. i also find the approach to to solution is different from m own, but in the end we arrive at the same conclusion.

Therefore, Mrs. Irritation, I applaud you for what you write about. It is a subject which is important to the public, which very few care to even look at, to address what this moment in life is all about. Continue to challenge my viewpoints, perspectives, definitions, etc., as they make me THINK!

I've never been referred to as Mrs. Irritation; it makes me laugh! Thank you, for I do take it as a compliment, for I want readers to think about what I write. It's encouraging to know that at least on this article, I was successful. I'm curious - on which definitions do you have a different perspective?

Even though I retired from my FT corporate job six years ago, I find I never use the word "retired" to describe my current season of life. There is so much to do, and never enough time to do it in! I think that's especially true for writers. Thanks as always Judy for these thoughtful posts that are so relevant to the season I'm in.

So true! There is never enough time to do everything I set out to do. I have never thought of myself as retired, probably because I haven't worked full-time in quite a while, but I've lived my entire adult life attempting to be productive and make good use of my time. It's a challenge! Thanks, Maggie!
