I have a somewhat unconventional POV on this topic. Though I can't claim that in my younger years I never experienced regret for something done or not done - said or not said, as I have matured in the spirit, with way more behind me than in front of me to see results in clear hindsight, I see everything, even the not so good things, as having a reason for being. I guess I finally rationalized this as all things come together for good for those who love the Lord and are called to His purpose.

Judy, thank you for this thoughtful reflection, filled with wisdom and grace. Joel 2 was a lifeline for me in my darkest hours. And yes, thank You, Jesus, He has restored 'the years the locusts have eaten.'
